I've stopped calling him the devil.
the devil is a non-human, red and pointy.
David Bentley Hart illuminates an important word for me in his Greek translation of The Lord's Prayer:
τοῦ πονηροῦ
the Wicked man
the devil is an alien outsider.
he is 'knowable' in the sense that we recognize his foreignness.
But,
the Wicked man
slides into,
or, (possesses)
us.
That is what exists outside of God.
The only other existence outside of Him is
him
An idol. Mimicry.
his 'desire' for us is covetous.
Seeking love through possession.
Upon witnessing God adore His children,
the Wicked man
chose the form of a snake to seize us, slithering into our beings.
Rape is the deepest and farthest extreme from God's Adoration of us.
The result of his possession leaves us pregnant with sin.
the Wicked man
should not be given identity or trait (the high honor of a name and self is exclusive for God's creations). An/The Anti-christ is born out of our impregnation and subsequent militarization to willfully remove him from our midst. A suicidal violence to cleanse ourselves.
It's only after recognizing and willfully absorbing him
that his natural decay, and our long death,
bring forth beauty out of ashes.
